American Foundation For Suicide Prevention

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. Through research, education, advocacy, and community programs, AFSP works to increase understanding of mental health and prevent the tragedy of suicide.

AFSP’s mission is to create a culture that’s smart about mental health. From local community walks to national awareness campaigns, the organization connects people to resources, builds support networks, and provides healing opportunities for those who have lost someone to suicide.

One of Warrior River Coffee Company’s owners, Nick Tyler, serves on the Alabama Board of Directors for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Through his work with AFSP, Nick advocates for mental health awareness, education, and suicide prevention across the state. His dedication to supporting others is reflected in Warrior River Coffee Company’s mission to build community, start conversations that matter, and remind everyone that hope is always within reach.
